1. Company Information

These terms apply to all services provided by Cardiff Electrical Home Rewire Ltd, registered address 14 Clarbeston Rd, Cardiff, CF14 2LN. By engaging our services, you agree to these terms.

2. Quotations

All quotations are free and provided without obligation. Quotes are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated. Quoted prices are fixed — we do not charge additional fees unless the scope of work changes with your agreement.

3. Service Standards

All electrical work is carried out in accordance with BS 7671 (18th Edition Wiring Regulations), Part P of the Building Regulations, and NICEIC standards. Work is performed by qualified, NICEIC-registered electricians.

4. Guarantee

All workmanship is guaranteed for 6 years from the date of completion, backed by NICEIC. This guarantee covers defects in our workmanship only. Manufacturer warranties on products (consumer units, EV chargers, etc.) are provided separately by the manufacturer.

5. Payment Terms

Payment is due upon completion of work unless alternative arrangements have been agreed in writing. For larger projects (over £2,000), a deposit of up to 25% may be required before work commences. We accept bank transfer, cash, and card payments.

6. Cancellation

You may cancel a booking with at least 24 hours' notice at no charge. Cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice may incur a call-out fee to cover scheduling costs. Work in progress can be paused or cancelled at any time — you pay only for work completed.

7. Access and Preparation

You are responsible for providing safe and reasonable access to the areas where work is to be carried out. If access is restricted or the site is not as described, additional charges may apply following discussion and agreement.

8. Liability

We carry comprehensive public liability insurance and professional indemnity insurance. Our liability is limited to the value of the work carried out. We are not liable for pre-existing defects in your property's electrical system beyond the scope of the agreed work.

9. Certification

All notifiable work is registered with the relevant building control body through NICEIC. Certificates (Electrical Installation Certificate, Minor Works Certificate, EICR) are issued on the day of completion. Digital copies are provided; physical copies are available on request.

10. Complaints

If you are dissatisfied with any aspect of our service, please contact us at cardiffelectricalhomewireltd@gmail.com or call 0333 323 1998. We aim to resolve all complaints within 5 working days. If we cannot resolve the matter directly, you may refer to the NICEIC complaints procedure.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
